Model 1915 Centering Scope 40X magnification is used to assist with positioning the stereotaxic manipulator accurately over the centering height gauge located on the stereotaxic base. The manipulator position is moved until the cross hair of the scope is lined up and in focus with the centering height gauge, which represents the center of all axes of rotation of the stereotaxic head holder (zero point of reference).

This zero point reference is used to zero out the stereotaxic manipulator readout display and for setting the tool height for remaining tools to be used in the surgical procedure.

All tools manufactured for use with our stereotaxic alignment system include an auto-indexing tool adapter mounting block for maintaining exact common vertical centerline position tool-to-tool.
